Precision-engineered foundry sand for superior casting quality
Swastik Sand delivers ISO 9001:2008 certified Resin Coated Sand and Washed Silica Sand to India's most demanding foundries — with 40+ years of uncompromised quality, technical expertise, and trusted partnerships.
Founded in 1984 as a Grey Iron Foundry, Swastik Sand has grown into Gujarat's most trusted manufacturer of Resin Coated Sand (RCS) and Washed Silica Sand. From our facility at G.I.D.C. Naroda, Ahmedabad, we have spent over four decades building deep expertise in foundry sand science — serving the most demanding foundries across India.
Today, we deliver over 1,000 MT of Resin Coated Sand and 800 MT of Washed Silica Sand every month — backed by a fully automatic sand coating plant, in-house laboratory, and ISO 9001:2008 certified quality management.
PLC-controlled automated plant (installed 2014) for unmatched batch-to-batch consistency and precision.
Advanced equipment testing AFS, HTS, Gas Evolution, LOI, and Transverse Strength on every production batch.
Internationally recognised QMS since 2009 — audited, documented, and continuously improved processes.
Precision-engineered sand formulations for every foundry application — from automotive engine cores to hydraulic valve bodies and tractor gear parts.
Ultra-low gas evolution formulations for aluminium, alloy steel, and SG iron castings. Drastically reduces blow-holes and gas defects in complex thin-wall cores.
Our flagship LNLD formulation covers the full spectrum of foundry applications — automobiles, hydraulic valves, camshafts, copper alloys, tractor engine and gear parts.
High-purity silica sand processed through our dedicated Sand Washing Plant. Multiple AFS grades with controlled particle gradation for reliable, consistent foundry performance.
40 years of expertise distilled into six core advantages that make Swastik Sand Gujarat's most preferred RCS partner.
Rigorous testing of every RCS batch — AFS, shape, ADV, clay content, resin flow & viscosity — on every single production lot before dispatch.
Low gas evolution formulations significantly reduce blow holes and gas-related casting rejection — improving your overall yield and bottom line.
We develop bespoke RCS grades for specific applications — working closely with your technical team to solve unique casting challenges cost-effectively.
Superior flowability and faster buildup reduces core-making cycle time — improving throughput and reducing investment in capital equipment.
Achieve exceptional dimensional accuracy and surface finish, substantially reducing post-processing time and finishing costs per casting.
We don't just sell sand. We actively partner with our customers to provide sustainable technical solutions that drive productivity and reduce rejections.
Our G.I.D.C. Naroda facility combines four decades of expertise with cutting-edge automation — delivering 1,800+ MT of combined production capacity every month with zero compromise on quality.
Our Resin Coated Sand formulations power precision castings across the full spectrum of India's manufacturing industries — from automotive giants to niche non-ferrous foundries.
Engine blocks, camshafts, manifold cores, water jackets, and gearbox components for passenger and commercial vehicles.
Precision cores for hydraulic valve bodies, small parts, and fluid control components requiring tight dimensional tolerances.
Tractor engine blocks and gear body castings engineered to withstand harsh and demanding field operating conditions.
Alloy steel castings for cement plant machinery, heavy industrial equipment, and processing plant components.
Copper based alloy castings, aluminium impellers, and non-ferrous small parts with superior surface finish and accuracy.
Hollow cores for 3–5 mm impeller passages with uniform wall thickness for water pumps, process pumps, and industrial fans.
Our laboratory is equipped with the latest testing and inspection equipment to deliver lot-after-lot consistency to our most demanding customers. ISO 9001:2008 certified since 2009.
Complete particle size, shape, and ADV analysis on every incoming raw sand batch and outgoing finished product.
Gas CC/gm/min measurement ensures every grade meets its specified low-gas targets before leaving our facility.
HTS and Transverse Strength testing validates mechanical performance for each specific casting application grade.
Loss on Ignition and resin content testing ensures correct coating levels and binder-to-sand ratios across all grades.
Comprehensive grade specifications for our Resin Coated Sand product range. All values are typical; custom grades available on request.
For Aluminium / Alloy Steel / S.G. Iron Castings — ultra-low gas evolution for defect-free hollow cores, uniform wall thickness, and easy knockout.
